Tech Tools for Healthy Living

Do you use an app to track your fitness?  Lately I’ve been hearing about a variety of smartphone apps that can help track your fitness efforts.  If you have a smartphone and are looking to get a bit more tech-savvy in your fitness routine, check out these apps and see if they help motivate you and keep you accountable.

Map My Walk – GPS tracks your path.

RunKeeper  – GPS tracks your path whether walking, jogging, running or biking.
Rock My Run – If you’re motivated by music, pick a mix to keep your tempo.
Charity Miles – Give back while getting fit.
Fitbit App – Use it with a fitbit device, or set it up on your smartphone to track all day activity.

If you live in Columbia, you might like the CA Pathways app, which gives you a map of all of the lovely trails around Columbia.
